Marrakech - Morocco, which enjoys an extraordinary spiritual diversity, is a land of peace, tolerance, and fraternity that respects differences, King Mohammed VI’s Advisor said here Wednesday.
"Morocco is a land of peace and tolerance where Islam and Judaism meet in a space of fraternity while respecting differences," said André Azoulay, who was speaking at a conference themed "Spirituality and contemporaneity in dialogue", organized as part of the dialogue and happiness Week, held on May 10-14 in Marrakech.
He also said that the meeting allows for discussing our history, culture and spirituality in relation to happiness, breaking with the usual context of debates on crisis management.
For his part, specialist Marc Henry Baudot who focused his speech on "spirituality, a little-known resource," said the meeting aims at laying the bases of a human spirituality distinct from religion in a context marked by the rise of inequalities and the clash of civilizations.
