Rabat - Air Arabia has announced a new route between Marrakech and Pau, France, available from April 1, 2016.
The Moroccan subsidiary of the low-cost airline based in the UAE will offer a flight every Friday from Marrakech-Menara Airport and Pau- Pyrenees, operated by and Airbus A320 of 168 seats.
The flight from Morocco will be scheduled for 15:15 arriving at 18:35 and leaving France at 19.25 landing at 20:50 in Marrakesh.
Bringing the number of destinations served from Marrakech by the company to three, Team Air Arabia Morocco claims the launch of this new airline reflects their commitment to the development of the Moroccan tourism sector.
CEO of Air Arabia Group Adel Ali said Pau is a city with great potential in terms of business and tourist attractiveness.
"This new airline, the first in the history of Morocco, will meet real needs connection in both directions, highlighting both the city of Pau that the city of Marrakech," he was quoted saying in Aujourd’hui le Maroc.
Air Arabia has been awarded Skytrax’s best low cost Middle East in 2015 after it launched subsidiaries in Morocco, in Egypt, and inaugurated Air Arabia Jordan in May.
