Washington D.C. - The Association of Moroccan Professionals in America is presenting its flagship Moroccan American Bridges 2015 conference, co-sponsored this year by the Middle East and North Africa Consultants Association, that will take place on December 4th at the Washington Marriott Georgetown in Washington, D.C.
The conference is being held under the patronage of the Honorable Aziz Rabbah, Minister of Equipment, Transport and Logistics.
Under the theme of “Educating Business for the 21st Century,” the conference features panel discussions and roundtables with business leaders and experts in the areas of energy, education, entrepreneurism, infrastructure, and water, and will provide networking opportunities with high-level business leaders and government officials.
Chaouki Zahzah, the President of AMPA, said the conference is designed to be forward looking and address some of the cutting edge issues in the 21st Century. “In light of new threats, new challenges, and new opportunities in our rapidly changing, internet-based world,” Zahzah said, “entrepreneurial thinking and innovation are absolutely essential. Our speaker panels will explore the interrelationships between these important areas as relevant to Morocco’s various developing sectors and how US-Morocco partnerships and businesses can work together to help Morocco achieve its ambitious directives while business opportunities are created on both sides of the Atlantic.”
The conference also features an exposition showcasing handicrafts and products made by Moroccan women's cooperatives. The expo will be on display throughout the day during the conference,” said Elisabeth Myers, who advises AMPA’s management team and serves on the Board of MENA Consultants.
“It will demonstrate the effective link between education, enterprise, creativity, and opportunity,” she said. The expo is presented in conjunction with L’Association d’Enfant dans les Hautes Montagnes (the Association of the Child in the High Mountains).
The one-day conference will be followed by a reception and optional VIP dinner. More details and registration available at www.amp-usa.org/.
