Rabat - King Mohammed VI will pay for the remains transfer of Moroccan Leila Alaoui who died after the terror attacks in Ouagadougou, the Foreign Affairs and Cooperation ministry said in a statement.
Leila Alaoui, who was injured in the terrorist attack that struck Friday night downtown Ouagadougou, died on Monday night, Morocco's Embassy in Ouagadougou said.
She died in a clinic in Ouagadougou after suffering a cardiac arrest, the embassy added.
The Moroccan photographer was having dinner at Cappuccino restaurant when the assault started, Leila was hit by the bullets of terrorists in the lung, abdomen, arm, leg and kidney.
The news came as a shock to Moroccans, who deplored her sudden death and described it as “terrible loss” for Morocco.
