Rabat - King Mohammed VI has sent condolence messages to the families of the victims of the road accident that took place on Wednesday morning near the Northeastern city of Nador.
The King also decided to pay for the costs of the transport of the bodies and the expenses of their burial and funerals, as well as the medical expenses of those injured, the King's Office said in a statement.
In the message to the victims’ families, King Mohammed VI expressed His heartfelt condolences and sympathy, praying the Almighty to give comfort to the victims' relatives and prompt recovery to the wounded.
On this painful occasion, the King instructed the relevant authorities to provide the necessary assistance and support to the injured, the same source added.
Eight people were killed and 30 others were injured, including two seriously, when an intercity bus and a van collided head-on near Nador.
