Rabat - The Moroccan government will train 5000 youths to defend its position on the Sahara issue on online social media networks.
Mustapha El Khalfi, Morocco’s Minister of Communication and government spokesperson, hosted a convention on Thursday with the National Institute for Youth and Democracy, which includes 16 youth party organizations.
The program aims to train youth around the kingdom in order to be qualified in explaining and defending the nation’s position on the Sahara issue. The program also focuses on promoting the youths’ credentials and information concerning the Moroccan Sahara’s political, economic, and historical dimensions.
The program also focuses on raising awareness among young Moroccans, improve their networking skills, and support their ideas in defending Sahara issue.
Several experts and political activists will coach the 5000 youths. They will provide them with the essential credentials to grasp the issue and defend it on social media and online websites.
Financed by the government, the Ministry of Communication will launch the program for youths all around the kingdom, aiming to train 5000 youth per year.
