Orlando - The Moroccan American community in Central Florida commemorated Morocco’s historical Green March with a beautiful evening of Moroccan Heritage filled with music, dance, cuisine, an NBA match, and overwhelming demonstrations of patriotism.
Videos and images of the memorable event are flooding social media. Thousands of Moroccans and visitors of every background enjoyed the unique evening where the colors of the Moroccan flag rose high.
Some of Morocco’s finest superstars – Souiri, Lamrini and world-renowned singer Douzi brought their talents and their love for Morocco to the Green March festivities, in which the most important guest of the evening was without a doubt, the Moroccan flag waving across the arena.
The Moroccan American Chamber of Commerce (MACC), Chabab Orlando and their many sponsors in participation with the city's own Orlando Magic NBA team celebrated at large.

Ahmed Zakari, President of the Moroccan American Chamber of Commerce (MACC) expressed his truest sentiment on last night’s Moroccan Heritage Night in Orlando.
“We may be far from Morocco, but Morocco is always within!!! Unique and unquestionably enormous Pride we continue to carry in our heart,” he told Morocco World News.
"The MACC is honored to be part of such events for our community to live the History Back."
"Yesterday was an exceptional day in Orlando. The Night started with Sami Omari a rising local star, Lamrini and half time show who brought tears to all people around me watching Douzi singing Laayoun Aayniya," he added.
