Rabat - The 18th National Solidarity Campaign netted 187.04 million dirhams, according to statistics of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
Contributions from the members of the board of directors of the Foundation and its supporting Committee totaled 139.54 million dirhams, plus 17.35 million dirhams as direct contributions in the identified projects, the Foundation pointed out in a statement.
The sale of badges, stamps and SMS netted 14.38 million dirhams, while in-kind donations amounted to 15.77 million dirhams (mainly food, medicines and vehicles), the same source added.
Moroccans have demonstrated once again their generosity and solidarity with the poor, the Foundation noted, adding that donations will fund concrete projects of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
